John was born on July 27, 1926 and passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016.

John was a resident of Colfax, North Carolina at the time of his passing.

He graduated from Virginia Tech University with a master's degree in engineering.

He was married to Helen Marie Sutton.

The family welcomes friends and family to celebrate John's life at Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
