John W. Anderson III was born in Buffalo, NY, the oldest of six children of John W. Anderson II and Vera Heminger and grew up in Ashland, Wisc. After graduating in 1954 from Notre Dame University with a degree in business, he served in the Military for two years. The majority of his career was with the American Management Associations where he became Vice President of the Chief Executive Division. In 1974 he met and married Lori Köppel Bean who was the General Manager of Cheeca Lodge in Islamorada, Florida. While John was with AMA, John and his wife lived in New York City for 20 years. After retiring, they moved to Orlando, Florida, to be near their children and grandchildren and to enjoy extensive travel. John is survived by his wife Lori Köppel Bean Anderson, daughters Dianne Bean and Daryl Kay Bean and her husband Jeffry Stein, grandsons Michael W. Pritzker and Joshua W. Pritzker and his wife Elaine, and great-grandchildren Henry Jay Pritzker and Lilly Pritzker Wood. He is also survived by his sisters Judy Tilaro and Lynn White. After a Memorial Service at the Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, 7520 Aloma Ave, Winter Park, FL, Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 at 10 AM, friends are invited to a Celebration of John’s Life at the Anderson Residence at 12 o’clock.
