John was born on October 6, 1923 and passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.

John was a resident of Connoquenessing, Pennsylvania at the time of passing.

He served in the US Army during WWII and also in the Air Force Reserves, Jack served as a Boy Scout Leader and Explorer for many years, as an Assistant Manager for the Meridian Fife and Drum Corp., a PA Game Deputy for many years, and as Mayor of Connoquenessing when they built the new Post Office.

Per his wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services. A combined memorial service for John W. "Jack" Rearick, Jr. and his wife, Jean L. Hilliard Rearick who passed away on March 10, 2017 will be held at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Arthritis Foundation Western PA Chapter, Foster Plaza #11, 790 Holiday Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
