John was born on March 4, 1940 and passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018.

John was a resident of Cato, Wisconsin at the time of passing.

He attended grade school at St. Mary's Catholic School in Clarks Mills and St. Patrick's School in Maple Grove, and graduated from Reedsville High School with the class of 1958.

John then served his country for three years (1958 - 1960) as a member of the United States Army.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated by his nephew, Rev. Bill Hoffman and the Rev. Richard Klingeisen. Entombment will take place at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc, with full military graveside rites accorded by members of VFW Post 6179 of Kellnersville. A parish prayer service will conclude the visitation at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church Tuesday morning after 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.dejamartin.com.
