Jon was born on December 18, 1942 and passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019.

Jon was a resident of Alabama at the time of passing.

He received his Bachelors of Civil Engineering and Masters of Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Florida.

Before beginning his career, he enlisted as an officer in the US Army in 1969 and led a Corps of Engineers platoon in Vietnam.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 from 10 am until 11:30 am at Briarwood Presbyterian Church Chapel with services to begin at 11:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Briarwood Presbyterian Church, Mercy Ministry in Birmingham AL.
