Joseph was born on February 19, 1945 and passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017.

Joseph was a resident of Stevens Place, Virginia at the time of passing.

A native of Chesapeake, he was a graduate of Deep Creek High School, and retired as a warehouse supervisor for Ciba Specialty Chemicals, Suffolk, and was a US Army veteran.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 14, at 10 a.m. in Wayside Baptist Church, 712 Canal Drive, Chesapeake by Pastor Paul Mitchell. Burial with Army honors will follow in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. A reception will be held back at the church immediately following the burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Missionary Fund of Wayside Baptist Church or to EDMARC Hospice for Children in Portsmouth.
