Joseph Paul Yochum, 82, of Belleville, passed away Tuesday March 31, 2015. Mr. Yochum served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was employed by Westinghouse Corporation, Eastwood Neilly, and then H and G Industries before reiring 24 years ago. Mr. Yochum is survived by his son Joseph, daughters Helen Kerner and Nancy Castiglione, brother John, sister Helen Tuminelli, grandchildren Jason, Mario, Yahaiti, Sheena, Amanda, Vincent, and 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Helen (nee Schwartz), daughter Shirley Yochum, and brother Charles. Visitation with military honors will be 6-8 pm Thursday at the Megaro Memorial Home 503 Union Ave Belleville (megaromemorialhome.com). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project PO Box 785517, Topeka, KS 66675. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Joseph Paul Yochum.
