COLUMBIA - Josephine Boyle Tompkins, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother and friend, peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017. Her outgoing and exuberant personality will be greatly missed by her family and her countless friends. She was a long time member of Trinity Cathedral and was heavily involved with the Trinity Bazaar for many years serving as Treasurer. She was an active member of the Junior League of Columbia and served as a commissioner on the S.C. Arts Commission for two consecutive three year terms. She had a larger than life personality and was always the life of the party.
