Our gracious lady, and loving Mother Josephine, was born in Mt Vernon, Alabama, on November 24, 1925, to Rhetta Newburn and John Andrews. She was the middle daughter in a family of three children. She married George P. Scott, on April 14, 1946. To this happy couple were born ten children; Cheryl, Jackie, Connie, John, Darrell, Becky,Denny, Denise, Lynn, and Glenn. Josephine also had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Josephine had multiple careers in her life; First Interstate Bank in California; from which she retired, Con Am Corporation in California, and Laughlin, and later at the Flamingo Hotel Casino in Laughlin. Josephine had many friends throughout her life with whom she remained in contact. Josephine was known by many names; Mom, Mama Jo, Grandma, Grammy, and Grandma Scott. Josephine was a true southern lady...a trait which she retained after moving to California. Her door was always open to family, friends, or anyone who needed a shoulder to cry on, or a voice to listen. She was a true lady...and will miss her inspiration, charm, and sparkling eyes. We each have our special memories of Josephine....and as we view this tribute and memorial, we will remember her with smiles, laughter, and love.

WE LOVE AND MISS YOU MOM.....BUT, FIND COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT.....YOU SING WITH THE ANGELS
