Josephine G. Dominguez Williams (Josie) born May 9, 1932 passed away at the age of 85 on November, 18 2017 in her home Reedley, California, where she had lived for the past 20 years.

Josie worked as a seamstress for Hicks Ponder and in several of the local packing houses of Yuma before she retired to take care of her husband, children and grandchildren.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and Nana who cared for her husband, Alfred Ruiz Williams who was bed ridden for 10 years before his passing in May of 1997. She then moved to Reedley, California.

She is survived by her partner and companion of the last 15 years Raymond Batey; sister, Mary Mendez; brothers, John Dominguez, Joe Dominguez, and Charlie Ohn of Yuma, Arizona, her brother Frank Dominguez of Guam; 11 of her children, daughters Mary Alice Bedolla of Indio, California, Gloria Irene Guzman, Roxanne Leyva, and Regina Rose Barrios of Reedley, California; sons, Jesse Robert Williams, James Patrick Williams of Phoenix, Arizona, Leonard Ruiz Williams of Redlands, California, Francis Daniel Williams, of Reedley, Steven Ray Williams, Jon Jerome Williams of Yuma, Arizona, and Valente Martin Williams of Prescott Valley, Arizona, she also has 28 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She also has many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Ruiz Williams, her son Alfred R Williams Jr., father Juan Dominguez, mother Francis Gonzalesz Dominguez, brother Albert Dominguez, and sister Margaret Leyva.

Services for Josephine will be on Saturday, December 9, 2017 in Yuma, Arizona, the place of her birth will now be her final resting place. A viewing will be held at Johnson's Mortuary, 1415 S 1st Avenue for 8:30 am to 9:30 am. Immaculate Conception Church, 505 S. Avenue B will conduct the Holy Rosary at 10:00 am followed by the Mass, directly after the Mass we will proceed to Johnson's Mortuary and Desert Lawn Memorial Park for burial in the Garden of Saint Joseph.
