Joyce was born on July 13, 1936 and passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016.
Joyce was a resident of Camden, South Carolina at the time of her passing.
She attended Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg VA one year before entering the Medical College of Virginia School of Nursing when she received her BS degree in Nursing. She later received her Master of Nursing Degree from the University of South Carolina.
She was married to W. Curtis.
A graveside funeral service to celebrate the life of Joyce Gibbs Watkins will be held at 11:00 AM Monday October 17 2016 at Sandy Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. John Hallman will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
