Of Parma, Michigan, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Borgess Medical Center, at the age of 61. Joyce was the daughter of Charles Edwards Kirkpatrick and Joyce Christine and Floyd (Satterfield) Johnson, born August 29, 1956 in Jackson, Michigan. She is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Steven McMurtrie; 11 children, Jaime (Ed) Siders, Eddy (Nina) Rosecrants, Travis (Mandi) McMurtrie, Casey (Jason) Underwood, Joey (Nick) Wright, Traci (Brent) Bisonet, Kacie (Travis) Owen, Bobby (Kaylee) Rosecrants, Kyle (Eric) Rosecrants, Brie Rosecrants, and Jackie Rosecrants; 20 grandchildren & two on the way; sister, Theresa (Doug) Sharpe; two brothers, Ron Kirkpatrick and Darol (Marilla) Kirkpatrick; mother and father-in-law, one brother-in-law; three sisters-in-law; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend, Laurie Sanford. Joyce was preceded in death by her father, mother, and step-father mentioned above; grandmother, Luella Budd. Joyce was a Western High School Graduate Class of 1974. She worked in Western Transportation for 43 years. Joyce loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, following and supporting all their sporting events. She enjoyed cooking (hosting Sunday Dinners), traveling with family and friends near and far, coaching softball for many years, 4H-Leader, sitting on the front porch and being outdoors. She was loved by many and will be sadly missed by all. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Joyce's life will be held at Village Hope Church, 100 E. Main Street, Parma, MI 49269 on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11:00 A.M., Reverend Jeremy Toyer officiating In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jackie Jo Rosecrants College Fund C/O C P Federal Credit Union, 2055 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson, MI 49203.

The family will receive friends at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Monday, September 18th from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday at Village Hope Church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
