Juanita Elizabeth (Morehead) Greer, age 84, was born August 20, 1932, in Spencerville, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Milton Morehead and Nancy Elizabeth (Dalton) Morehead. She married Vollie Greer on August 5, 1950 in High Hill, Oklahoma. Juanita lived in this area all of her life and was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church, Ft. Towson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; an infant sister, Wanda Faye; a daughter, Kathy Smith; and a grandson, Tony Earnest.
Juanita went to work for Wells Lamont Glove Factory in 1957 and worked there until the factory closed down and then she worked at Cabbage Patch Daycare until she retired. She loved spending time with her family, she loved to crochet, work in the garden, read and play dominoes.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE: two daughters, Karen Earnest and husband, Jim of Ft. Towson, OK, Debbie Hanson of Sawyer, OK; one son, Jimmey Greer and wife, Vickie of Spencerville, OK; one brother, Leonard Morehead and wife, Barbara of Muskogee, OK; three sisters, Lois Chappell of Grant, OK, Rachel Young and husband, James of Harrah, OK, and Marilyn Flowers of Pauls Valley, OK; four grandchildren, Nicky Smith and Nancy Givens; Jason and Jeffrey Hanson; two step grandchildren, Jason and Robert Covington; 13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
