Of Parma passed away at Countryside Care Center Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the age of 88. Juanita was the daughter of Arthur H. and Gertrude M. (Gauger) Dehning, born April 20, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruce Chapel of 67+ years; son, Todd Chapel; her parents, and sister, Virginia Beste. Juanita was the mother to Gary (Gail) Chapel, Bruce (Ellen) Chapel, Jim Chapel, Karen Chapel, and Carolyn (Coyn) Speiser; daughter-in-law, Cathy Chapel; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Cindy Chapel; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Juanita graduated from Morgan Park High School in Illinois. After raising her six children, she began her working career as a CNA for over 20 years. She enjoyed helping people, spending time with her children and grandchildren, working word search and puzzles, playing cards and her dog, Roxy. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial celebration of her life will take place at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.; Inurnment will follow in Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M.
