Judith "Judy" Fennelly was born in Hamburg, Iowa in 1943 and moved to Roseville, California in 1947. She continued to live in Roseville, Ca. until she passed away, almost 70 years later, at the age of 73. Judy was somewhat of a tomboy growing up. She met her husband, John, at a dance in Roseville when she was 18 years old and married him when she was 20 years old. After a few local jobs when she was younger, Judy began working for the State of California. She remained a State employee for 36 years in various positions, starting with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), then the Department of Justice (DOJ) and finally as a building manager for CUIAB. Through 53 years of marriage, Judy and John enjoyed motorhome camping, fishing, and spending time with family. Judy loved the mountains and the ocean along with her love of animals. She is survived by her husband, John; her sister Janice; her dogs Sofie and Sadie, her McCaw, Quasimoto, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and brother/sister-in-laws. She is predeceased by her parents, Ed and Bea Hickman, and her brothers, Jack and Jim Hickman. Memorial Services are to be held at Cochrane's Chapel in Roseville, information is listed below. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Roseville Salvation Army are appreciated. Information for donating is below as well.
