Julia Annie James was born on May 6, 1919 to the late Moses and Rosalind James in Utila Bay Island, Republic of Honduras. After a short illness, she passed away on March 15, 2017 at the age of 97.
From a young age, Julia accepted the Lord and was baptized and became a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Utila.
In 1968 she immigrated to the United States, where she worked as a nurse’s aide for South Oaks Hospital in Long Island, NY until 1988.
Upon retirement Julia moved to Tampa, Florida and became a true and faithful member of the (then) Soul Harbor Church of God.
Julia leaves to remember her: daughter, Tina Hunter; son, Harold Taylor; sister, A. Ludevine James; grandsons, Joseph James and Robert Taylor; granddaughters, Julia Jones and Mary Kelske; nieces, Reina Bodden, Marva Solomon, Elizabeth Murray, Ida James, and Eleanor James; nephews, Stanford James, Luis James, Earl James, Fred James, Alfredo James, and Alvin James; along with many grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and friends.
Julia will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
