JULIUS BARIOLA, JR., 77 LAKE PROVIDENCE, LOUISIANA Cox Funeral Home Lake Providence, Louisiana LAKE PROVIDENCE, LA - Funeral services for Julius Bariola, Jr., age 77 of Lake Providence, Louisiana will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Lake Providence, Louisiana. Father Joe Kallookalam will officiate. Internment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Lake Village, Arkansas with Father Theo officiating. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Lake Providence, Louisiana. A time of visitation with the family will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Cox Funeral Home 208 North Hood Street, Lake Providence, Louisiana. Rosary Services will be held at 6:30 PM on Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Lake Providence. Mr. Bariola passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 at West Carroll Care Center in Oak Grove, Louisiana. He was a native of Lake Village, Arkansas. A veteran of the U. S. Army he served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He began work during his college years in summers at Farmers Seed & Feed as a cotton scout. He graduated from the University of Arkansas. He was a licensed agriculture consultant for many years and was employed by Terral Agriservice for 44 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Julius Bariola, Sr. and Catherina Piazza Bariola; 4 brothers, Lawrence Bariola, Otillo Bariola, Johnny Bariola and Louis Bariola and a sister, Theresa Bariola Sherrod. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janice Bariola of Lake Providence, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Judie Bariola of Carlisle, Arkansas; son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Dara Bariola of Madison, Mississippi; daughter and son-in-law, Julia Bariola Fields and Dr. Ronnie Fields of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; granddaughter, Andrea B. Polk (Alan) of Carlisle, Arkansas; granddaughter, Virginia Bariola of Carlisle, Arkansas; grandson, Adam Fields of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; grandson, Alex Fields of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; grandson, Brantley Bariola of Madison, Mississippi; granddaughter, Mary Philip Bariola of Madison, Mississippi; great grandchild, Avaley Polk of Carlisle, Arkansas; brother, Tony Bariola of Lake Village, Arkansas; sister, Madeline Bariola of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; sister, Louise Farris of Lake Village, Arkansas; sister, Mary McKeown of Rock Springs, Arkansas; and sister, Beth White of Lake Village, Arkansas. Pallbearers are: Ronnie Fields, Alex Fields, Adam Fields, Philip Bariola, Brantley Bariola and Stephen Bariola.
