Karen J. Meserve, 61, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Lincolnshire, IL. She was born September 22, 1955 in Oak Park, IL and had been a resident of Libertyville and Mundelein for most of her life. She was a 1974 graduate of Libertyville High School and attended Southern Illinois University. Karen loved dogs, was a volunteer for numerous organizations and was the former fitness manager at the Libertyville Sport's Complex.
Surviving are 2 children, Garrett W. Calhoun (Nicole Day) and Rachel Grace Meserve (Ryan Pellegrino); 2 sisters, Kathie (William) Rundall, Claudia Potts and her brother Kevin Potts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Potts.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 17 at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.) Libertyville. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to www.brainup.ngo .
