Karla Michelle Melson, 38, of Corvallis, passed away March 10, 2017. She was born in Albany to Michael R. and Lee-Anne C. (Morgan) Clark. She grew up loving gymnastics, softball and volleyball, as well as camping and playing with her family's many cats and dogs. She graduated from South Albany High School and Linn-Benton Community College. Karla had three children: Lane, Israel Jr., and Karlee, whom she loved dearly. She was known to all as being charismatic and fiercely loyal to friends and family. She had an infectious laugh and great sense of humor. Karla is survived by her parents, Mike and Kay Clark and Lee-Anne Clark of Albany; sisters, Kim Clark of Albany, Kelly (Clark) Antrim of Sherwood, and Kori (Clark) Sarrett of Albany; and her three children of Albany. She was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Clark. A memorial service will be at 10:00am, Friday, March 17 at Fisher Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to CASA or Adult and Teen Challenge may be sent in care of Fisher Funeral Home, 306 Washington St. SW, Albany, OR 97321.
