KateLynn passed away in June 2017.

KateLynn was a resident of Reno, Nevada at the time of passing.

Before moving to Reno, NV after 8th grade graduation, Katie resided in Santa Rosa, CA with her mother and attended school in the Gravenstein School District in Sebastopol, CA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any US Bank for the "Katie Weingartner Foundation", which is a non-profit for the benefit of students in need with examples of characteristics of which Katie portrayed.
