Bryan, Kathleen Hunter age 92 of Washington Township passed away Saturday January 6, 2018 at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living. She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Robert Bryan and is survived by her son Stephen (Sandra) Bryan of Grosse Pointe Park, MI; grandchildren, Melissa, Hunter, Katie Bryan; cousin Ruth Garber Hawk; nieces, Lucinda Kathleen Kullman of Salmo, British Columbia, Kendall Kullman, and Ann Marie Fontanez of Colorado Springs, CO. Kathleen enjoyed her many friends and colleagues she met through her many years of service. She attended the University of Akron, Universidad National de Mexico, and the University of Dayton. Kathleen was the Director of Religious Education at the Church of the Incarnation where she also volunteered at Incarnation School and was the first woman Lector and first Eucharistic Minister. She was also appointed to the Pension Board by Archbishop Pilarczyk. Kathleen also found time to volunteer as a tour guide at Cox Arboretum. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Thursday January 11, 2018 at the Church of the Incarnation 7415 Far Hills Ave. Graveside Services will be held 12 noon Friday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Akron.
