KELLER MAE KNUCKLES was the beloved daughter to Charles Sr. and Lillian Knuckles. One of ten children. She was born May 5, 1927 and sadly, she fell asleep in death on Thursday May 3, 2018. She was educated in public schools of Greenville, South Carolina. Later she and Coalie Langford together had 7 children. Joseph, Lillian, Phillip, Brenda, June, Danny & Sarah. In the early 1970’s Keller began a bible study with Sister Mary Frye who was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Keller shared what she was learning with all of her family members. She symbolized her dedication to Jehovah by water baptism in the summer of 1975. Keller shared the good news about God’s Kingdom to many in her neighborhood. For many years, Keller served as a Regular Full Time Minister. Keller was a domestic worker for many years and also worked as an adult companion for seniors. She would visit with them, have a nice cup of coffee over conversation and she even did light shopping for them. But, her passion was her family. She was affectionately known as Mom, Grandmom Keller, Grandmom, Gram, Aunt Keller and Nana. Everyone that came in contact with her, simply adored her. Keller was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a sweet loving individual, she prepared the best tasting soul food in the city, she was a confidant, and she was a true friend. Keller loved the Philadelphia Phillies and the Eagles and watched every game. She loved music too, her favorite radio station played the oldies on Sundays at 7:00 p.m. Keller faithfully attended her Christian meetings until she could not make the trip. When the time came that she could not make the meetings in person, she took full advantage of the tie in phone line to conference in. This way she was able to be in attendance for all of her meetings. She viewed that as a blessing from Jehovah and it made her very happy. Keller Mae is preceded in death by Coalie Langford, son Joseph, daughters Lillian Langford and June Langford. Siblings Esther Powell, Sarah Ann and (brother in law) Thomas Anderson, Nathan Knuckles, Jacob Knuckles, Robert Knuckles, James Knuckles, Melvin Knuckles, Charles Jr. Knuckles and Douglas and (sister in law) Evelyn Knuckles. She leaves to cherish her memories: Sons Danny Langford, and Phillip and (daughter in law) Lois Langford; daughters Brenda Langford and Sarah Langford as well as 20 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 13 great, great grandchildren, and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and life long friends.
