Kenneth Ruster, 78, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital of Fort Wayne in Fort Wayne. Born in East Rochester, NY, He was a U. S. Air Force Korean War Veteran. Kenneth worked as a Sr. Systems Engineer with ITT A/CD for 16 years, retiring in 1995. Previously employed by Cincinnati Electornics for 23 years. Ken was a member of St. Joseph United Methodist Church, Grand Lodge of F.& A.M. of Ohio, E.T. Carson Lodge , Scottish Rite Valley of Ft. Wayne, Mizpah Shrine, Mizpah Shrine Hillbillies Clan # 95, Mizpah Shrine Provost, American Legion Post # 82 . Survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol Ruster; Daughter - Sharon J. (William) Cole of Cookeville, TN; Son- Randall P. (Christine) Ruster of Warren, IN; Sister - Edna M. Bigelow of E. Rochester, NY, .Grandchildren; Amanda and Andrew Ebersole,& Cassidy, Garrett and Erik Adkins Kenneth was preceded in death by Father, John Ruster, Mother, Ruth Ruster. Brothers, Ralph and James Ruster, Sisters, Adell Herzog, Madelian Herzog and Dorothy Kennedy. Funeral Service will be Thursday at 1:00pm at D. O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Rd. with Visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 .
