LOUIS LABANE CLEMENT, 83 LAKE PROVIDENCE, LOUISIANA Cox Funeral Home Lake Providence, LA LAKE PROVIDENCE, LA - Funeral services for Louis LaBane Clement, age 83 a farmer of Lake Providence, Louisiana, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Lake Providence, Louisiana. Reverends Justin Clark and Bill Bearden will officiate. Committal services and interment will follow in the Providence Memorial Cemetery in Lake Providence, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Homes of Oak Grove & Lake Providence. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until time of service on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 304 Davis Street, Lake Providence, Louisiana. Mr. Clement passed away at his residence on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. He is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Louis Clement; his mother, Ulma Marie Arneder Clement and his sister, Janice Owens. LaBane is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Jeanette Fairchild Clement of Lake Providence, Louisiana; daughter & son-in-law, Pam & Dennis Gardner of West Monroe, Louisiana; daughter & son-in-law, Jennifer & Tony Gibson of Denham Springs, Louisiana; granddaughter & her husband, Abby & Stephan LeBlanc of Pineville, Louisiana; granddaughter, Maggie Gibson of Denham Springs, Louisiana; grandson, Porter Gibson of Denham Springs, Louisiana; granddaughter & her husband, Paige & Chase Nordan of Denham Springs, Louisiana; great grandchild, James Louis LeBlanc of Pineville, Louisiana; great grandchild, Myles Nordan of Denham Springs, Louisiana; sister, Carolyn Joyner of Lake Providence, Louisiana; and sister, Theresa Hosey of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Pallbearers are: Andy Brister, Joey Hooper, Roger Clement, Tommy Scroggins, Gary Johns, and Mike Sevier. Honorary Pallbearers are: Ralph McCurdy, Wallace Oliver, John Wesley Clement, Scratch Bernard, Buddy Fairchild, Simelo Joyner, Phillip Deal, Jimmy Cook and Rickey Fairchild.
