Farrar Funeral Home
Funeral services for Larry Wayne Norwood, Sr., 64, of Farmerville (formerly of Felsenthal) will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Culbertson Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff May and Bro. Scott Jennings officiating. Burial will be in Culbertson Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
Mr. Norwood, a water operator, went to his heavenly home March 31, 2015. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He retired as a fireman with the Huttig Fire Department and was a member of Culbertson Baptist Church near Farmerville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Norwood, a sister, Debbie Campbell.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Mary Norwood of Winnsboro; wife, Joyce Norwood of Farmerville; 5 sons: Larry Norwood, Jr. & wife, Lorri of Homer, LA, James Allen Norwood & wife, Sharon of Farmerville, Scott Norwood & wife, Amy of Farmerville, Jason Norwood & wife, Rebekah of Fulton, MS, and Kevin Eppinette & wife, Michelle of El Dorado, AR; 2 daughters: Tracy Shirey of Saraland, AL and Angel Eppinette & husband, Russell of Smackover, AR; 5 brothers: Mike Norwood & wife, Sue of Olla, LA, Teddy Norwood & wife, Sunday of Winnsboro, Jimmy Norwood & wife, Lisa of Gilbert, James Spillers, Jr. & wife, Ellen of Farmerville, and Don Spillers & wife, Flora of West Monroe; 4 sisters: Dianne Hodges & husband, Glenn of Crowville, Janet Norwood of West Monroe, Kaye Norwood & husband, Bryan of Winnsboro, and Sandra Spillers of Smackover, AR; 26 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Scott Moon, Tommy Williams, Tyler Norwood, Drew Norwood, Timmy Austin, and Nathan Norwood. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Eppinette, Brandon Norwood, and Russell Lamb.
Visitation is noon-2:00pm Saturday at Culbertson Baptist Church.
