Letha F. Clark, 97, of Kansas City, MO formerly of the Historical Old Northeast part of KC for 67 years passed away on December 15, 2017. Letha was born July 18, 1920 in Lathrop, Missouri to Fred Lewis and Lena Helen (Fink) Wilson. Letha helped the war effort in California as a “Rosie the Riveter” inspecting the rivets on the planes before they were sent out during WWII. Letha later owned a beauty shop in downtown Kansas City for 50 years and was active in the Lady’s VFW Aux. Letha was involved in bowling leagues and enjoyed sewing and knitting especially afghans.

Letha was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Clark; siblings, Charlie Wilson, Nora Burwell, Anna Hunter, Jenny Russell, Fred Wilson, Joseph Wilson, Woodrow Wilson, Henry Wilson, Roy Wilson, and Frank Wilson, brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth Beck, Alvin Beck, Delores Barnett, Thelma Cline.

Survivors include daughter, Linda Clark; sister, Ruth Reynolds; sister-in-law, Betty Beck Wiseman; 2 grandsons, Philip Wheeler and Ken Wheeler; 4 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; 14 nieces and nephews.

Memorial services are set for 1 PM; Saturday January 6, 2018 at White Chapel Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial are suggested to Community One Hospice, Holy Cross Choir or Jerusalem Farms.
