Lawrence was born on June 10, 1927 and passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016.

Lawrence was a resident of Stanford, Kentucky at the time of passing. Lawrence was formerly from Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.

He was a member of the National Guard for 23 years and retired as Captain. He served in Korea with the 1092nd Combat Engineers.

Lawrence was married to Patricia.
