Lawrence was born on January 26, 1922 and passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019.

Lawrence was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana at the time of passing.

L.D. was an Army Air Force veteran, proudly serving during WWII.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd. Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 9:00 am until the funeral service begins at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
