Lawrence was born on December 16, 1941 and passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.

Lawrence was a resident of Polo, Illinois at the time of passing.

He graduated with multiple degrees from the University of Illinois..

On August 12, 1972, in Rock Island, IL, he was united in marriage to Sibyl Anderson, they just celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. Larry was a chemist for the United States Army during the Vietnam Era..

Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Monday at Polo Family Funeral Home, 110 E. Dixon St. Polo. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 201 N. Division Ave, Polo, Pastor Terrie Wilder officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service with Military Honors at Fairmount Cemetery, Polo.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name.
