Lee Donald Robertson, age 65, of Dassel, died Friday, April 6, 2018, at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018, at 2:00 pm at the New Life Assembly of God in Cokato with Pastor Al Jones officiating.

The Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel is in charge of the memorial arrangements.

Lee Donald Robertson, the son of Donald Henry and Alice Marie (Lee) Robertson was born on April 17, 1952, in Emmetsburg, Iowa. He grew up in Hampton, Iowa where he attended school and graduated from the Hampton High School in 1970. After graduation, Lee moved to Minneapolis where he resided for a few years.

On August 18, 1979, Lee was united in marriage to Della Knutson in Waconia, Minnesota. Together they made their home in Waconia before they moved to Cokato in 1980. For 19 years, Lee and Della made their home in Cokato and in 1999 they moved to Dassel where they have resided since.

Lee was employed as a truck driver for most of his life and for the past five years has worked for Faribault Foods in Cokato.

He was a lifetime member of the NRA and enjoyed fishing and Hunting with his dog, Annie. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all his heart.

He is survived by his wife, Della Robertson of Dassel, step-children, Kari (Michael) Greenquist of Zimmerman, Minnesota, Renee' Hendrickson of Zimmerman, Minnesota, Cathy (Bill) Zobel of Darwin, and Todd Knutson of Dassel, eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, siblings, Jon (Carole) Robertson of Hampton, Iowa, Janine Robertson of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Robert Robertson of Hot Springs, Arkansas; brothers-in-law, Gerald (Sheri) Braunberger, Arlie (Pat) Braunberger, Rick (Tammy) Derheim, sisters-in-law, Ellen Wangrud, and Connie Lobitz, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Charles Greenquist, his parents, and a nephew, Corey Robertson.
