LaMorise "Lee" Edmond of Abilene, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Services will be 10a.m., Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Elliott-Hamil Chapel of Faith, 5701 Hwy 277 South with burial to follow in the Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories. The family will receive friends at a visitation Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lee worked for Texas Mail Service as a truck driver. He loved his dogs, being outdoors, and fishing. He was also well known for being a star athlete during high school.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Morton; parents, Lee Edmond and Gladys Searcy; sister, Doris Langham; brothers, Jesse Langham and DeMorris Edmond; and grandson, David Mills, Jr.
Lee is survived by son, Adam Edmond of Lafayette LA; daughters, Safirrea Renfro and Donna Gayle Mills, both of Abilene; brother, R.L. Langham of Corpus Christi; sisters, Carolyn Cleveland and Perry Sneed of Houston, Dorothy Wigfall and husband John of Abilene, and Bobbie Chew of Abilene, aunt Betty Jenkins of Abilene; grandchildren, Nehemiah Renfro, Malachai Renfro, Kaleihya Renfro, and Reyna Mills; great-granddaughter, Aliyanna Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
