Mr. Lee "Rambo" Fambro, 63, of Sylvester died Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mike Newsome will officiate.
Mr. Fambro was born on December 3, 1953 in Hollywood, FL to the late Homer Ray Fambro and Marjie Batchelor Newmans. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Army. Mr. Fambro was retired from Marine Corps Logistics Base where he worked as a mechanic. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, bird hunting and mud bogging.
Survivors include his daughter, Angel Fambro Webb (Billy) of Sylvester; grandchildren, Danielle Bradshaw, Logan Webb and Justin Webb; sisters, Teresa Godbee (T.J.) and Beverly Fambro Miller (Denis Barry); brother-in-law, Billy Weaver; nieces & nephews, Belinda Golden, Deidra Tucker Whiddon, Jamie Tucker, Hollis Miller, Jeannie Miller and Billy Miller along with several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Fambro was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Weaver.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the Service Hour at Banks Funeral Home.
