Lela Brennan passed away Saturday peacefully at Weymouth healthcare.Born in Cambridge November 26, 1914 she was the daughter of the late Albert L. Andrews and Malvina Nielson Andrews of Hyde Park. She was the sister to the late Albert Andrews, Edith Andrews, Frank Andrews, and Clara Andrews. She was born and lived in Hyde Park for many years working on her family owned junk yard. She would drive the tow truck while all the men were serving in WWII. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis Brennan Sr. and loving mother to late of Francis Brennan Jr. She lived for many years in Roslindale and worked as a teamster for 26 years. She then moved and retired with her husband to Carver. Lela enjoyed making and eating sweet treats. She would often bake for family and friends and it was the treat of the party. She loved to sing in the chorus group and would sing to different nursing homes in Boston. Lela enjoyed driving cars and drove up until the age of 94. She had many hobbies such as; reading, playing bingo with her park friends, and eating ice cream whenever possible. She is survived by her grandchildren Mark F. Brennan and his wife Mary from Hull, Christopher J. Brennan and his wife Heather Brennan of Halifax, Scott M. Brennan and his wife Wendy of Easton and Tracey M. Brennan of Weymouth. She adored her 7 great grandchildren Ryan, Patrick, Christina, Kayleigh, Kyle, Tyler and Sean. Her service will be held on Thursday June 22 at 10:00 am in the Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St. North Plymouth. Visiting hour from 9 till 10 am. Burial in Centre Cemetery in Wareham.
