Leola Duvic Roberts, 95 years old of Ponchatoula, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Belle Maison Nursing Home in Hammond, surrounded by her family.
She was born on Wednesday, March 31, 1920, in Ponchatoula, daughter of the late Charles and Caroline Rottman Duvic.
Surviving are her daughters, Carolyn Bergeron, Fran Poche (Rufus), Sherry Roberts, Debby Gomez (Brad), Bonnie Clay (Timmy), and Sherry F. Michelli; sons, Larry Roberts (Becky) and Dale Roberts (Cathy); 14 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 49 years, Frank B. Roberts; brothers, Percy, Leonard, Leroy, and C L Duvic; sisters, Hilda Cockern and Nellie Braud; and son-in-law, Bush Bergeron.
Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, Monday, April 6, 2015, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. P. Brent Maher and Deacon Larry Melancon at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula, Monday, at 11:30 am.
Interment will follow in the Ponchatoula Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or St. Joseph Catholic School in Ponchatoula.
