The Obituary LEONA FRANCIS CASON was born on July 21, 1923 to the late Louise Simmons and John Hall. She was called home to her heavenly Father on February 11, 2015. Leona was raised by John and Louise Hall. Leona's brother, Arthur Lee often spent time at her home. She met and married Fred Cason and from this union they were blessed with Ronald Douglas, Juanita Fred and Robbin Angela. Fred preceded her in death on December 25, 1956, and she was devastated. Leona was baptized in 1972 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, where she enrolled her three children. She worked several jobs for the well being of her family and still attended church. Mom showed discipline. She would give us what we needed, when we needed it as she saw fit. She was a magnificent baker and cook. Leona was a school crossing guard and retired after 23 years of service. Her retirement was filled with friends, mind enhancing activities and family management. Leona was extremely well loved by her children and her community, all her "Babies" all of which she cherished, Darnell, Cindy, Shanita, "Bruce", Mark Anthony, Rondell Lamont, Marquill, Alexander, Shanira Markyah and Daeshon. Last, but not least, extended family: The Mendel's and their family; close confidants, Calla, Cleo, Anne, Dorothy, Maurice, Tony and Walter, just to name a few. She had so many, just know, you are not forgotten. Mommy left us reluctantly, but well enhanced to cherish her memory to carry on under God's love and guidance. Lovingly Submitted, The Family
