Leonard Melvin Enochs, 94 year-old resident of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away August 31, 2017 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Born March 15, 1923 in Drumright, Oklahoma, he was the son of William J. Enochs and Mary Theresa Margaret (Demarsh) Enochs. Leonard proudly served in the U. S. Marines during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He loved fishing and was always building or fixing whatever needed built or fixed. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Leah (Jacob) Enochs; 1 daughter, Theresa Enochs; 8 siblings; 2 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Survivors include 4 sons, John Richard and his wife Marsha Enochs of Vaughn, Montana; Victor Martin and his wife Gail Enochs of Stringtown, OK; Leonard Wayne Enochs of Yukon, OK; and Kenneth Raymond "Ray" Enochs of Cleveland, OK; 1 daughter, Janice Marie West and her husband Duncan of Morgantown, Kentucky; 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; 1 sister, Gertrude Stilwell of Seminole, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Wake service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, 2017 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK 73141. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1107 Felix Place, Midwest City, OK 73110. Burial will follow Military Honors being rendered by a U.S. Marines Honor Detail at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK.
