Leonard was born on April 20, 1935 and passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016.

Leonard was a resident of Mosinee, Wisconsin at the time of passing.

Leonard served in the in the United States Army from 1953 until 1956 where he was honorably discharged. He served in the Korean War and achieved the rank of SP3. He received the Good Conduct Medal and National Service Medal.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December. 29th, 2016 at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home located in Schofield, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. John J. Buettgen Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements. Special thanks to all of Leonard's extended family caregivers that provided for his comfort during his time of illness. A heartfelt thank you for providing outstanding care from Interim Health Care Hospice, especially Shinae and the outstanding staff at Cedar Creek Manor.
