Leroy was born on September 4, 1931 and passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019.

Leroy was a resident of Austin, Texas at the time of passing.

A lifelong Austinite, Leroy graduated from Austin High School, briefly attended Blinn Junior College and The University of Texas before becoming a lineman for Southwestern Bell Telephone.

Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd. in Austin, Texas will host a visitation period from 6:00-8:00 pm on October 9th and a memorial service at 11:00 am on October 10th, with burial to follow at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in his name be directed to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or to the charity of one's choice.
