Leroy Richardson, 80, of Blytheville, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.
Leroy was born in Blytheville to T.J. and Theda Wright Richardson. He was the retired director of Mississippi County Social Services and the owner of Richardson Tax Service. He was a lifelong area resident and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Leroy was an avid Razorback fan and collected depression glass, coins, and antiques of any kind.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronnie Richardson; and sister, JoAnn Perry.
Leroy leaves his wife, Josie Crews Richardson of the home; three children, Sandra Cassady and her husband Brent of Jonesboro, Regina Young and her husband Ken of Fayetteville, and Rodney Edmonson and his wife Tiffany of Humble, Texas; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his favorite sister-in-law, Peggy McPherson of Cordova, Tennessee; and many friends and family that he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 11th at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home.
