Mr. Leroy "Shep" Shepard, Jr. was born on February 7, 1969 in Florence. South Carolina. He was the son of Sarah Ann Conyers Shepard and the late Leroy Shepard, Sr. On Wednesday, April 11, 2012, Mr. Leroy Shepard, Jr. entered into eternal rest. "Shep", as he was called by family and friends, attended the public schools of Florence County and graduated from Wilson High School. He was a self employed painter by profession. His hobbies were cooking and entertaining people. He will be sadly missed. He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Sarah Ann Conyers Shepard of Kingstree, SC; a very special friend, Sherry Hamlin of the home; a grandson, Antoni Benjamin, Jr.; one daughter, LaKim Shepard of North Carolina; two brothers, Stacy Shepard and Carlos Thomas Shepard (Grace), all of Florence, SC; three aunts, Rachel Welch of Columbia, SC; Essie Mae Parker of Florida and Mary Conyers of Kingstree, SC; two uncles, Sammie (Leatha) Gray and Professor (Janie) Conyers of Kingstree, SC; one great aunt, Eva Nesbitt; one niece, Shyanta Shepard; one special cousin, Carrie L. Brown of Kingstree, SC; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
