Lester was born on November 1, 1933 and passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019.

Lester was a resident of North Vernon, Indiana at the time of passing.

Mr. Lee was a 1951 graduate of New Castle High School.

He served in the Indiana National Guard for two years (1952-1954), and three years (1954-1957) in the United State Marines Corps, 12 years for the Board of Trustees of Indiana Wesleyan University, former president of the Rotary Club, and formerly involved with the Jennings County Chamber of Commerce, 40-year member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Shriners Club, Indiana Department of Resources (one term), and served as Receiver for a bank.

A funeral service with military rites for Lester will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019, at the First Church of the Nazarene in North Vernon with Reverends Caleb Reynolds, Phil Edwards and Ralph Lee officiating. Visitation at the First Church of the Nazarene from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on May 16, 2019.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the First Church of the Nazarene in North Vernon or Hospice of Donor's Choice.
