Lillian M. (Babe) Deml Wesely

Babe Wesely age, 91, born November 9, 1926 in Owatonna to Joseph and Albina (Prokopec) Deml died Monday, June 4, 2018 at Homestead Hospice in Owatonna.
Mass of Christian Burial is set for Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 12:30 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Owatonna. Friends may greet the family starting at 11:00 am at the church on Saturday. A Parish rosary will be recited at 10:45 am on Saturday at the church.

In 1946 she married Henry J. Wesely at Sacred Heart Church. The couple farmed and raised five kids on the Wesely Centennial Farm which she was a very active part and continued her involvement delivering meals and picking up parts after moving to town.

She was an active member in Sacred Heart Church, St Mary's Guild, Steele County Extension Club and was a 4-H project leader. After school she worked at Wesely's Store in Hope, Jostens, Spurgeons and Owatonna Monument. She enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, gardening, traveling, casino trips, playing cards and especially entertaining.

Babe is survived by three daughters, Shirley Steinberg, Sandy Tidball, Cynthia Wesely and two sons, Mike (Cindy) Wesely and Steve (Linda) Wesely all of Owatonna and her special grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry in 1999 and all her brothers and sisters.

Memorials can be given to Sacred Heart Church and Homestead Hospice Patient Care Fund. A special thank you to Countryside and Hospice for their special care.
