Lillian Grace (Watts) Garrett, formerly of Huntertown, passed away quietly on Monday, June 19, 2017 at the age of 91. Lilly, as most knew her, the youngest of seven sisters, was born in Poplar Bluff, MO to Thomas and Grace Watts. She loved birds, music, children, friends and family. She left nursing school when WWII began and moved to Denver, where she spent some time at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal to help the war effort. She moved to Fort Wayne to work at Farnsworth Television, and later at the Fort Wayne State hospital. After marrying the late Gene Garrett in 1954, she spent twenty years as a customer service representative at Lincoln Life before retiring in 1981.
