Linard Bobby (L.B./Butch) Phelan,
Longtime resident of Pasadena, Texas since 1965, passed from this world on August 6, 2016. Mr. Phelan served in the U.S Army during the Korean War, assigned to the Air Cavalry. Linard was a lifelong member of the P.T.A., supporter of the PasadenaHigh School Marine Corp ROTC Booster club. Mr Phelan was avid Fisherman,Hunter and electronic wiz and all around accomplished handyman. Mr Phelan was a retiree of over 30 years of Service from Phillips Petroleum of Bayport, Texas.
Mr Phelan was preceeded in death by life long love Jenevia Ann (Sue) Phelan, daughter Debra Gail Phelan, parents William Lee Phelan and Edna Berkella Phelan, brothers Johnny Phelan and Bob Phelan.
Mr Phelan is survived by his Sister Lucille Wiggins of Pasadena, son James Phelan and Wife Lesli of Murphy, Texas, Mark Phelan and Wife Lisa of Pasadena, Texas, daughter Rhonda Gallion and husband Brent, son Casey Phelan and wife Diane of Pasadena, Texas son Tracy Phelan and wife Dawn of La Porte, Texas. 14 grand children and 3 Great Children and many nieces and nephews.
Linard touched the lives of so many in the community and will be greatly missed by the family and all who knew him.
Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Pasadena Funeral Chapel. Jim Overton Associate Pastor of South Avenue Baptist Church of Pasadena, Texas officiating.
Graveside services and interment to follow at 11:00 am at Grand View Memorial Park.
