LEWISTON - Linda Mae Law (Vaughan), 70, of Auburn, peacefully passed away on February 14, 2017 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.She was born on August 26, 1946 in Waterville, ME a daughter of the late George and Jennie (Savage) Vaughan. Linda studied business at Burdett College in Boston, MA and later became a private accountant for many businesses in the central Maine area. For the past ten years she had worked at The Good Shepherd Food Bank in Auburn, ME. She was an active member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, where she served for many years as Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher, and Youth Leader. She was passionate about quilting, sewing, and making gifts. She was a member of the Church Mice Quilters, a group who dedicates their time to create gifts for charitable organizations such as The Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, and The Dempsey Center. She loved to read, garden, cook, and host gatherings for friends and family. She was a faithful servant and found great comfort in her relationship with Jesus during difficult times. Her faith guided her in all that she did and provided peace during her passage to Heaven.

Linda was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Walter Law, and her nephew, Matthew Vaughan. She is survived by a daughter, Megan Shaw and her husband Tom of Framingham, Massachusetts, a brother, David Vaughan and his wife Carol of Nashua, New Hampshire, a nephew, Luke Vaughan and his wife Tracey of Phoenix, Arizona, a niece, Christine Vaughan of Nashua, New Hampshire, and a great-niece Natalie Vaughan, of Bristol, Connecticut.
