Memorial services for Linda Lou LeGrand Beck, 77, of Shreveport will be conducted at 10 AM, Tuesday, November 28th at Hill Crest Funeral Home in Haughton, LA with Pastor Jeff Segner of Springs of Grace Baptist Church officiating.

Linda entered into rest on Wednesday, November 22nd at Willis-Knighton Pierremont in Shreveport. She was a loving wife, wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She was born in Ashland, Louisiana on April 11th, 1940 to Elgin and Jettie LeGrand. She loved and appreciated everything beautiful. She would spend hours decorating a Christmas tree or get lost in a store searching for the perfect outfit. She enjoyed listening to beautiful music and would often pleasure us with singing a few lines every now and then. You would often find her enjoying her over-sweetened coffee or Coke at the kitchen table or on the front porch. She was funnier than she ever realized she was. Grammy loved letting the kids stay up for their late night conversations. She was proud of all of her children's and grandchildren's accomplishments no matter how trivial. She had zeal for the small pleasures in life.she liked what she liked and was unapologetic about it. If we couldn't find her in the house, we knew the first place to look was outside where she would be picking up sticks or pecans. She lost her father at a very early age but had nothing but fond, vivid memories of him. She probably loved "Mama" above all else. She shared a closeness with her mother that was unrivaled; we can be sure that she is happy right now sitting next to her on her porch swing.

Her parents: Elgin and Jettie LeGrand, her husband: Joe Beck, and eldest sister, Billie, preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memories are daughter Christi Barry of Shreveport, son Brad Lange and wife (Rachel) of El Dorado, Arkansas; two brothers: Al LeGrand of Shreveport and Danny Smith of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; sister: Sandra Beach of Shreveport; six grandchildren: Jordan Lange and wife (Megan) of Shreveport, Lainie Lorio and husband (Will) of Shreveport, Noah Cox, Jakobe Lange, Addison Lange, and Bailey Lange of El Dorado; two great grandchildren: Bryce and Kayson Lange; and former son-in-law Chris LeGrand.
