Linda Hunter Waterford- Linda Marie Hunter, 65, of Waterford, died Thursday, June 8, 2017, at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London. She was born in Middletown April 25, 1952, the daughter of Florian and Dixieann Usher Czaja. She was the wife of Wayne Hunter who survives her. Mrs. Hunter had last been employed as a cashier for the Waterford Rite Aid Store. She was a former Auxiliary State Trooper for ten years, and was a member of St. Bridget of Kildare Church in Moodus. In addition to her husband Wayne, she is survived by three sons, Frank Saunders of Old Saybrook, Wayne Hunter, Jr. of Waterford, Christopher Hunter of Montville; three daughters, Stacie Dunn of Ft. Myers, FL, Diana Heil of Old Lyme and Frances Parker of Groton. She has 14 grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted in St. Mary Cemetery on Tuesday, June 20th at 1 PM. The Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home of New London has been entrusted with arrangements.
