Lionel was born on May 31, 1933 and passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017.

Lionel was a resident of Ohio at the time of passing.

He was a 1950 graduate of Seven Mile High School and a veteran of the U. S. Navy.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Benjamin Franklin Lodge #719 F&AM, past master and numerous other Masonic bodies, including Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, Syrian Shrine, and the Navy Fleet Reserves. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. Benjamin Franklin Lodge will hold services at 4:00 p.m. followed by the Scottish Rite Ring Service. A funeral service with Pastor Mark Finfrock and Pastor Grant M. Montgomery officiating will follow. Burial will be private in Rose Hill Burial Park.
