Lloyd was born on July 7, 1935 and passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018.

Lloyd was a resident of Virginia at the time of passing.

He proudly served two years in the United States Army, First Battle Group Third Infantry; eight years on the Virginia Board of Transportation under the appointment of four Governors of VA; six years on the Town Council of Pennington Gap, VA; two terms on the Virginia Bankers Association Board of Directors; sixty years as a thirty-second degree member of Masonic Fraternity; a charter member of Cedar Hill Country Club; Saint Charles Alumni Foundation Board Member; Saint Charles Lions Club; Jaycees.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 11, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Pennington Gap, 41851 East Morgan Ave, Pennington Gap, VA. VA, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Funeral Services will follow at 4 p.m. by Pastor Josh Osteen officiating. Military graveside services will be at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA on Monday, March 12, 2018, at 2 p.m. Family is asked to meet at the funeral home at 1 p.m. to follow in proc.

In lieu of flowers the family ask to make donations to the First Baptist Church of Pennington Gap, P.O. Box 146, Pennington Gap, VA 24277 or a charity of their choice in his memory.
