Lois Glasgow, 86, of Columbia, MO passed away in Ashland, MO after a brief battle with Alzheimer’s. No services are scheduled at this time.



Lois was born April 18, 1931 in Ogallah, NE to Lenard and Norma Naylor Owens. On August 28, 1948, she married Glenn Glasgow in Independence, MO. While living in Kansas City, she worked a few years for Hallmark, and also worked several years for Kirlin’s retail stores as a sales associate, display designer and data processor. She was a very political active woman in Kansas City, and was an effective supporter of Young Matrons and Beta Sigma Phi.



She is survived by her husband, Glenn Glasgow of Columbia; children, Kathy (Ronnie) Bennett of Richmond, VA and Karen Rene (Bradley) Follett of Lenexa, KS; grandchildren, Nicole, and Donovan Bennett, and Tracy and Travis Follett; and a great granddaughter Layla Follett. She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Bruce Glasgow; brother and sister, Vernon Owens and Gloria Ann Hamilton; and a granddaughter, Erin Bennett.
